Laurie R. Goldstein MD, FACOG
Dr. Goldstein is a board-certified Ob-Gyn, in private practice in New York City since 1985. Her particular areas of interest include general and high-risk obstetrics, care of the Ob-Gyn patient with breast cancer, gynecologic care of peri and post-menopausal patients, and geriatric gynecology.
Dr. Goldstein has combined medicine and a commitment to human rights with her work with Physicians for Human Rights in their torture and asylum network. She has also provided medical care in Central America on a volunteer basis. Dr. Goldstein is on the Board of Medical Advisors of the Young Survival Coalition for women under 40 with Breast Cancer.
In addition, Dr. Goldstein has a passion for animals, and is deeply involved with the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in Ulster County, NY. She is also a Wildlife Conservation Fellow with the Bronx Zoo/Wildlife Conservation Society.
Dr. Goldstein lives in New York City, and in Ulster County, NY with 2 cats and an assortment of wildlife.
